that candles have a memory? When you light a candle for the first time, it remembers how far it melted across the surface. If the candle does not pool properly, a "tunnel" effect will occur, which will leave a load of wax on the sides of the container.
For BEST performance, trim the wick 1/4 inch before each burn. Allow the candle to liquify and completely melt across the width of the container before extinquishing. (Not to exceed 4 hours). This will result in a longer lasting burn.
Be sure to burn candle within sight and keep away from drafts, children, pets & flammable materials.
